Our servers were hit with a DDoS attack — basically, a flood of junk traffic that tried to overwhelm our systems and slow things down. It caused some interruptions and slower load times for a number of customer sites.
The good news: no data was ever at risk, and our team jumped on it right away. We worked hard to filter out the bad traffic, get everything stable, and restore normal service as quickly as possible.
To help prevent this from happening again, we’re rolling out server upgrades and stronger security tools designed to better detect and block these kinds of attacks in the future. These improvements are already underway, and they’ll make Chillidog Hosting even more resilient moving forward.
